It’s been forever since I wrote, sorry! I will be adding some book reviews that I have all ready written over the next few weeks / months and some new reviews as I finish books in my current TBR pile.

I am currently listening to The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky for personal reading and Everyday Wonders by Fr. Michael Oleksa in our homeschool.

The Brothers Karamazov is a long one and at times has been confusing, but I will hold back my review until I am finished with the book. I think I am enjoying it though.

We are loving Everyday Wonders. My youngest (8) said, as we were listening to a chapter that we had previously heard in person, she wishes it was a video so we could see Fr. Michael because he is a very entertaining and engaging speaker. We all agreed 🙂 This book is non-fiction and all events that have happened to him. My kids now say “everyday wonders” instead of “coincidence”. We highly recommend this book in any of the 3 formats sold at Ancient Faith (linked above); ebook, paperback, or audio.

There are way too many books in my TBR pile to list them all but sitting right next o me is Food, Faith, and Fasting by Rita Madden. On my nightstand is Nonviolent Communication by Marshall Rosenberg. For school, in addition to Fr. Michael’s book, we are reading The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien and The Amber Room by Catherine Scott- Clark & Adrian Levy and Hieromonk Gregorios The Divine Liturgy A Commentary in the Light of the Fathers printed by Cell of St. John the Theologian Koutloumousiou Monastery Mount Athos.

What are you currently reading? And what is in your TBR pile?

(If you purchase from the above links, I am not compensated in any way whatsoever except joy in knowing I shared something with you that I enjoyed and blessing the author and publisher as well.)
